(visited by Thomas Caspers, Simon Caspers and Laura Caspers)

28-Oct-2004 -- This year we spent our holidays in the Eifel. From there we crossed the border to Luxembourg in order to visit the confluence point N50 E006 in the early afternoon of October 28th, 2004.

It was a foggy and rainy day, but when we approached the confluence we were lucky. The rain stopped an even the sight became quite clear. We left the car in the valley close to a creek and climbed up the hill to the confluence, reaching it at 14:33 local time.

At the conluence point there is a little building site but it was possible (and legal) to enter the actual area. Beside the pole marking the confluence you can find several other poles indicating the cardinal points, a bench and a sign explaining the reason for this rather unusual landmark. This time I was accompanied by my kids, Simon and Laura.
