23-Dec-2019 -- Ich fahre auf eine größere Straße und komme natürlich in einen Stau, der alles etwa 45 Minuten aufhält. Etwa zehn Kilometer vor dem CP überlege ich, ob ich es noch bei Tageslicht schaffe. Ich rechne hin und her. Es ist sinnvoll für mich diesen CP heute zu besuchen und im Dunklen noch etwas weiter zu fahren. Wenn ich hier irgendwo übernachte, wird die Zeit für meine ganzen Vorhaben immer enger.

Ich stelle meinen Bus direkt an dem Abzweig zu den Wohnhäusern ab. Am ersten Tor auf dem Weg zum Feld kann ich vorbei gehen. Das nächste kann ich leicht übersteigen. Auf einem sehr aufgeweichten Weg gehe ich nach links und dann durch sehr nasses Gelände die letzten Meter zum CP. Nach etwa 15 Minuten war alles erledigt. Leider war das Tageslicht schon weg. Aber es gibt ja ausreichend viele Tageslichtbilder von den Besuchen des Punktes, um die Entwicklung zu verfolgen.

Ich fahre am Abend noch zum Wald von Sherwood, wo ich jedoch keinen kostenfreien Parkplatz finde. Ich übernachte auf dem Stadtparkplatz in Edwinstowe.

23-Dec-2019 -- I drive on a bigger road and of course get into a traffic jam which takes about 45 minutes. About 10 km before the CP, I think about whether I can still make it in daylight. I calculate back and forth. It makes sense for me to visit this CP today and to keep driving in the dark. If I spend the night somewhere here, the time won’t suffice for all my plans. I park my bus right at the turnoff to the apartment buildings. I can easily pass the first two gates. On a very soaked path I go left and then through very wet terrain the last meters to the CP. After about 15 minutes, everything was done. Unfortunately the daylight was already gone. But there are enough daylight pictures from the visits of the point to follow the progress.

In the evening I drive to the forest of Sherwood where I do not find a free parking place. So I spend the night in the town car park in Edwinstowe.
