02-Jan-2005 -- We arrived at 12:40 on 2nd January our first confluence of 2005. We were on our way to Creswell Craggs and the day was very cold and windy. This was also our first ever confluence visit as it is the nearest one to where we live but last time the batteries on our camera ran out.

The place must be jinxed as the same thing happened again but this time we were prepared!!. We parked the car very close to the spot down a little road and walked 0.11km over the fields.

We had our dog Murphy with us on his first confluence visit and he thoroughly enjoyed running around in all the mud. The exact spot a few meters in from the field edge was totally boggy. Typical!!!!
