08-Oct-2003 -- This is the nearest confluence to my home, so that the most inconvenient aspect of my expedition was the bad weather. I took a bus from Kladno to Bratronice (a village 8 km N) and then I continued my trip by foot along the road through the extensive forest, troubled by cold wind and rain showers. After crossing the bridge I arrived at a road crossing about 200 m from the confluence. The hill was just in front of me, but from which side to climb up? I tried it from the road along the northern (river) side, but it seemed very dificult. The slope was very steep, wet and quite high. I could approach the confluence for some 80 m and then I decided to look for a more comfortable way. I went round the hill from east (past the pub). and found a red-marked path twisting uphill behind the municipal authority house. Once being on the top I had no problems to approach the confluence by a narow path through bushes along the northern side of the castle. The confluence is on very steep slope just below the end of the waste tube. I came near for some two or three meters but I didn't dare to climb down to the exact spot (it was wet, probably full of unknown dirt and there was almost nothing to hold on)...
