27-Jul-2025 -- Normalerweise strebe ich an, Konfluenzpunkte im Rahmen einer Radtour zu besuchen. Für den Besuch von N52 E12 nutze ich allerdings die Anreise per Auto zu einem Berlin-Trip. Nach einem Zwischenstopp in Magdeburg machen wir einen kleinen Umweg über Schora und stellen zunächst das Auto ganz in der Nähe des Konfluenzpunktes an der L51 ab. Allerdings scheitert der Versuch, den Konfluenzpunkt von hier aus zu erreichen – ein mit undurchdringlichem Gestrüpp bewachsener Erdwall bietet kein Durchkommen, und ich muss umkehren. Also parken wir das Auto weiter östlich auf einem Feldweg, von dem aus ich Zugang zu dem Feld mit dem Konfluenzpunkt habe. Nach 900 Metern entlang des Feldrandes, nun bereits diesseits des Erdwalls, erreiche ich mein Ziel. An dem Hain am Feldrand zeigt sich hübsche Vegetation (u. a. Echinops sphaerocephalus und Prunus spinosa) und als ich den Acker in Richtung Konfluenzpunkt betrete, flieht ein Reh über das Feld in das Wäldchen. Ich habe Glück mit den GPS-Satelliten – bereits nach einem kurzen Konfluenz-Tänzchen zeigt mein Garmin lauter Nullen.

27-Jul-2025 -- Normally, I aim to visit confluence points as part of a bike tour. However, for this visit to the N52 E12, I'm using the car for a trip to Berlin. After a stopover in Magdeburg, we take a small detour via Schora and park the car very close to the confluence point on the L51. However, the attempt to reach the confluence point from here fails – an earth bank overgrown with impenetrable undergrowth makes it impossible to pass, and I have to turn back. So we park the car further east on a dirt road, from which I have access to the field with the confluence point. After 900 meters along the edge of the field, now on this side of the earth bank, I reach my destination. The grove at the edge of the field is home to attractive vegetation (including Echinops sphaerocephalus and Prunus spinosa), and as I enter the field toward the confluence point, a deer flees across the field into the small wood. I'm lucky with the GPS satellites – after just a short confluence dance, my Garmin shows nothing but zeros.
