English narrative

24-Sep-2002 -- We saw that it had already been visited but we asked ourselves why it had taken so much time to attain it so we decided to discover it. After obtaining maps of the area we left from Yecla (Murcia) to Ayora (Albacete) and from there by the highway cv-590 to the place casas de Rovira, we took a dirt track with a poster that indicates House of the Summit. We began to climb by a road that took us down and up through ravines in a landscape dominated by almonds tree and pines. After a curve we reached an iron door opened with a poster of warning of hunting boundary and zone of training of dogs. This made us doubt if we should continue, but when we had decided to return a car appeared. It was the wife of the guard, to whom we explained our intention, and who amiably indicated to us that we should follow. I went until the House of the Summit that gives name to the property. We left the car and her husband, after doubting a little, allowed us to continue to our objective which took about 40 minutes of climbing by a way surrounded by pines and with partridges and pheasants flying from our steps.

The objective was 2 meters to the right of the way measured with a yellow Etrex, giving us to a possible error of 7 meters and an altitude of 884 meters. The view from there was grand, with an intense blue sky and the town of Ayora to the NorthWest.
