(visited by Gordon Spence, Rachel Spence, Danielle Spence, Carl Spruce and Oscar the Dog)

08-Oct-2011 -- So, it's five hours since our last visit at 53N-01W. Why so long? well we stopped for breakfast just six miles up the road from 53N-01W. Then we stopped for a toilet break at the motorway services...

Swing around the narrow lanes, I know where I am going, though I'm not sure the others are convinced :-)

Through the gates and park at the side of the field, where there is already a car parked. No sign of anyone. We can however hear a hunting horn, though there is no sign of either the hounds or any horses...

It's a fair bit wetter underfoot here, so get kitted up, try and avoid the churned up mud, through the gate into the field. Once again Carl leads the way, we keep hearing the hunt but never see them.

It isn't long before we reach the spot, as you can see from the photo's Oscar can hear the hunt, even if we don't see them (yet...)

Back to the car and start stripping off the muddy gear, when we see the hounds go past the end of the road, followed by some guys on ATV's then we are approached by two women on horseback. One enquires "are you lost". I explain that far from lost I know exactly where we are.

For some reason she doen't seem to like this and states the nearest foot path is a long way away (never mind the public road 50 yards away eh?). I explain the reason why we are there and get the advice "let Matt know in the estate office next time".

Pack up our stuff, into the car and off to Scotland.

Nearly forgot, this is report number 200.
