(visited by Philippe Burtin and Antonella Burtin)

05-Dec-2010 -- We made a successful try on this CP less than 1 hour away from our home in Montpellier. The CP is easy to reach. We drove from Montpellier to Quissac then went on D35 road wich leads to a point 300 m South East of the CP.

We left our car on the roadside in a place used to park off duty trucks during week-ends. From there a dirt track (no longer usable by car, unless 4X4) heads 10 meters from the CP.

The weather conditions were awful : outside temperature 3°C to 4 °C, continuous rain, heavy overcast. Under these conditions, the approach was difficult though the distance was really short. We had to make our way on a sunken soil with deep mud and melting ice (the temperature was under 0°C less than 20 hours before the visit). Zeroing the point was hard under the shower.

On the point, we scrambled to shoot our pictures than rushed back to our car. The result seems very poor under dim light and rain. The vegetation seems to have grown up since the 2005 visits. The panoramic picture was shot from the slight elevation that can be seen on the West picture taken by Captain Peter during his 2004 visit. We are very proud to share one CP with such a long time performer.
