(visited by Ross Finlayson)

04-Oct-2023 -- Driving South from Stuttgart, I was pleasantly surprised by the hilly terrain and spectacular scenery that I encountered while driving towards this Degree Confluence Point. After passing through the village of Buchheim, I turned Eastward on a very narrow country road (first paved, then gravel) at [48.00286,8.98987]; this road passed less than 100m from the point, which lies in a grassy farm field.

If only a piece of land could talk! I read that this point holds a record for the most visitors at one time - but today I was the only person to stand here.

Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
