19-May-2012 -- Every year I go to a party to Hessen in the mid of May. Since my last visit of a confluence point was several months back, I was thinking about a big detour. I decided for a trip around the Harz and then to the party. I looked at the route on the map again and again and could not make a decision. There were several options.

On Saturday, 19 May 2012 I decided to visit confluence 52°N 11°E. I was driving on the A14 to Bernburg and from there on the B6 direction Quedlinburg. A large part of the new B6 is built. My GPS didn’t show the entire route. I decided to take the highway running parallel to the B6. I drove to Eilsdorf-Halberstadt. I parked the car at the northern edge of the village perfectly to walk the last few meters by foot. The confluence is on a field and is not hard to find. I took the required photographs and set off to the point 52°N 10°E.
