06-Feb-2009 -- It was an awesome winter day in Arizona, sunny, 71 degrees with a slight breeze. We arrived at the spot with the windows down wearing t-shirts and shorts. Felt like calling my relatives in Minnesota and laughing at them. Anyways, there was a single farm worker churning up the empty dirt field when we arrived. After he passed and the dust settled down, we walked about 25 yards into the field. Had very little trouble getting the GPS unit to zero out. This is a great spot to visit for a first time confluence journey.
