03-Sep-2019 -- This was the second CP (of 27) on our 4-week campingcartour accross Great Britain and Ireland. It is located on a field in southern direction of N 416 which connects Wichelen and Schoonaarde. Parallel to N416 railwaytracks try to stop CP-hunters – an impass leading south ends at a double railwaytrack that you have to cross carefully and at your own risk. When heading towards the railwaytracks i was observed by two residents – when coming back some 15 minutes later they muttered something i didn't understand – but it was obvious, that my kind of crossing the railways was the reason for this kind of admonition.

After crossing the railwaytracks the field with the CP was planted with maize – so with slow and carefully walking to the CP there was no danger for the crops. Fast CP-Localisation – then taking pictures; the maize was "only" approx. 2,5 meters high – so due to long arms and an height over 1,90 meters the pictures show (a little bit) more than only maize in the four directions. Then same way back to the campingcar – all finished in approx. 20 minutes and we continued our journey towards Calais and Great Britain.
