19-Sep-2004 -- Two years ago I visited 39ºN 1ºW so I decided that being at about 30 km of 38ºN 2W, it was time to make another visit to a confluence. I left Bullas (Murcia) on my motorcycle and I wanted to arrive until Singla without stepping on asphalt, so that through dirt roads and mounts and with the help of the maps it arrives at the point without misfortunes.

But according to what I read from my predecessor in his description the confluence was in a field of almond trees and all I saw was a field of cereal harvested after the summer and trees. I thought that the datum would be the reason, so I verifyed that the GPS continued marking 38ºN 2ºW with datum WGS-84.I took the photos and I hoped to solve the mystery later.

As I was leaving a car passed by, I asked them to stop and the driver stepped down and I asked for the name of the place … ‘Pond Goerge’ he said. After some friendly conversation I asked if there where almonds tree in the place, he answered that there used to be plum trees that where all cut a year ago. Now all is clear, plum tree have similar flowers to the almond tree and it blooms one month latter.
