English Narrative

10-Jul-2004 -- The activity of out primary competitor and comrade, Maxim Yegorov, compelled us to visit this point. During the previous days off, he destroyed our long-nurtured plan to sweep across the West of Novosibirsk area, and to collect seven easily accessible points. To tell the truth, Maxim has for some reason done only four. Having seen on Friday the posting of the processing of these points, we, having abandoned all other affairs, drove off to restore our undermined self-respect. The point turned out to be more difficult than we expected, because of the rain it was not possible to approach closer than 1.5 km, though in dry weather it is possible to drive directly into the clearing, right where the required CP is located. On the way back from our walk to the CP, we were caught in a torrential rain, which ended as quickly as it began, having had time to thoroughly drench us. All way back to Novosibirsk we dried our things. By the way, about the road - from Kolivana to Pikhtovka it was simply awful. The hunt goes on.
