Me (Reginaldo de Almeida) and my cousin (Alexander Brigido) left Fortaleza early in the morning (4 o`clock) of June 4th, 2004 to conquer the confluence. We decided to take the highway BR 222, passing by Sobral and Tianguá, then in Tianguá we took another road to São Benedito, passing by Ubajara and Ibiapina. In São Benedito we took a dirt road to the confluence point.

After 40 min we were already about 800 m from it. We parked the car and tried to incur in the terrain, but after 400 m, several scratches (we had no tools to open our way) we decided to try another approach.

We drove the car around the confluence and managed to get as far as 300 m. There we found a very nice land worker (Sr. Tarcízio), whom we hired to open the way since he knew the land and had the right tools. And then we made the confluence.

It was located on a flat massif belonging to the Serra da Ibiapaba, and it was a very uncommon paisage, as it was high and green, almost the opposite of what one expected to find in Ceará.
