07-Aug-2000 -- This was the last confluence we visited in Nebraska. Now it's onward to the East and the state of Iowa. What did we find at this confluence?? More beans. The Gentleman in the photo is the Farmer who leases the land. He was very interested in the confluence being in the field behind his house and walked out to it with me. He also mentioned that the farm is close enough to Omaha that the land is worth more for building homes than it is for growing crops so it may soon become a suburban neighborhood instead of a farm.
