02-Apr-2004 -- I was in the area on business, so I stopped by for my first confluence visit. The actual confluence is on a 60 degree slope. I got as close as I could until the poison oak became too thick. You can actually get within the 100 meters to the confluence and stay in the car. No extra work required.
