28-Feb-2003 -- We were travelling to Senges and Prudentopolis (PR) from Sao Paulo when a confluence waypoint was near the gps screen almost 3 km in the highway near Itapeva. We solve to look for a exit in highway, and ask in a nearby farm about how go to the confluence. All the local people told that the better entrance was to Fazenda Palmerinha.

When we arrived at Fazenda Palmerinha, we ask for permission to enter, that was allowed, and we found a lot of roads with a red and humid soil, and among rows of trees we start to search the correct route. This farm is natural passage to other gravel roads far from Itapeva.

Fortunately we arrived at 200 meters from confluence place and saw another road, nearest. So we made a turn and found the confluence place just in the road.

Nearby there were a lot of people cutting some weeds and brushes near the pines and we took a picture.

The confluence is a easy place to find. It took us less than half a hour to find the confluence.

After we went to Senges and visited Sobradinho Waterfall(see the picture), Navio Waterfall and Canyon Jaguaricatu, where we camp out.
