This confluence forms part of an eleven-confluence journey that starts at 27°S 150°E.

Back on the Balonne Highway, and continuing towards Cunnamulla, the confluence is about two kilometres from the highway close to the Toolonga Water Facility. We went a short distance north on a dirt road and a bit further cross-country before parking about one kilometre from the confluence.

The walk to and from the confluence was uneventful, other than noting several fresh mounds of horse droppings. We saw some wild horses about an hour or so earlier whilst driving, but given the scarcity of water and edible vegetation in this area, I was quite surprised.

I photographed the confluence at about 10:40 a.m. making it three out of three so far for the day, and I hadn’t even had breakfast yet!

We continued on to Cunnamulla to get some fuel and have a late breakfast or early lunch before tackling two planned confluences on the QLD/NSW border.
