15-Oct-2001 -- I have geocached for a while now and heard about counfluences recently. Decided to visit the closest degreee confluence to where I go to school, about 30 miles from 36°N 89°W. We parked about .75 miles from the spot and bushwacked for a while, keeping an eye out for no trespassing signs, and seeing none we charged on through some rather thick brush. The 3/4 mile trek took about an hour due to the thorns and other assorted evil undergrowth. As soon as we walked up to the site, we saw a road which would have eliminated the bushwacking entirely but we had a great time anyways.
