#1: A rock in the Vermont woods.

(visited by Alex Jarrett and Karl Wilson)

07-Oct-1998 -- Karl and I met in Brattleboro and set off through the Green Mountains of Vermont to find the confluence. Karl found his dream home (not pictured) as we drove down miles of dirt roads in the Green Mountain National Forest. Every time we though we'd have to get out and hike, a road kept going closer and closer to the confluence. We ended up have to walk about 1/3 mile to a recently clearcutted stand of forest.

Karl promptly whipped out his Go board and we played a short 9 by 9 game. The results of the game are potentially embarrassing and cannot be revealed here.
