28-May-2001 -- This confluence was 31 miles as the crow flies from my home. It took about 1 hour to get there and because of the heavy timber about 30 minutes to get the site pinpointed. My son and myself were in shorts (not smart) and we came away with a few battle scares. The confluence was about 4 miles from the nearest hard surface road. Thanks to an helpful land owner we were given directions to a private lane which shortened the trip by several miles.
