#1: Confluence Point

(visited by Mark J. Lampton)

09-Apr-2001 -- I approached this convergence from the south via US Hwy.72 in Mississippi, turning north onto County Rd.105 and then onto County Rd.101. These are dirt roads and the confluence point is about ¼ mile off the road in the woods to the left. It is also located on private hunting land. This should be attempted only during the week and not in hunting season. The site is down a grassy hill through a clearing, on the other side of a bobwire fence, and is not very difficult to get to. Picture #1 is looking east at the convergence point. Picture #2 is looking south, Picture #3 is looking north and Picture #4 is Mark at the confluence point. You my even scare up a few deer like I did, if you are lucky.
