11-Nov-1999 -- The sun was finally out so I took I-91 north from West Topsham and headed into the tiny town of Holland where most of the radio stations are in French. The dirt roads just kept going my way and I finally pulled off to the side of the road and only had to hike into the woods a little bit. Fortunately the confluence happened before the river did.

I could see someone's farm house and wondered if they could see me mucking about in their woods with all my strange gear. I only heard the dog barking a whole bunch and so abandoned my elaborate photo ideas with bear mask and plastic pig and took some snaps and headed out of there before dark.
