11-Feb-2001 -- Après avoir parcouru votre site, je me suis mis à chercher le confluent le plus proche de chez moi. Hourra , il n'est qu'a 30 km de chez moi. Je prend donc ma voiture et mon GPS , et hop me voilà à la recherche de ce fameux point imaginaire et un peu magique.

Durant le trajet , je suis subjuguer par la beauté de la campagne normande avec c'est champs à perte de vue , c'est petit village très jolie et très mignon que je traverse et surtout les fameuse vaches de Normandie J Et me voilà bientôt près de ce fameux point, je cherche un endroit pour pouvoir accédé au confluent car il se trouve en plein milieux d'un champs un peut inondé dut au forte pluie que la Normandie est sujet depuis quelques jours.

Voilà une place pour garer la voiture et en plus avec une chance incroyable il y a un petit chemin qui s'enfonce dans le champs, je sors de la voiture équipé du mon GPS que je ne quitte pas des yeux et me voilà à N49°00'00.0 E1°00'00.0

Je suis heureux d'avoir trouvé le confluent sans trop de problème, je sors l'appareil photo de ma poche et je prend plein de cliché de se que je peut voir ....

J'espère pas m'arrêter a un seul confluent et d'en trouvé d'autre car c'est vraiment génial..... et je conseil a tous de faire même afin que se projet puissent avancé a grand pas et de découvrir des endroits plein de magie....

11-Feb-2001 -- After looking through your site, I set off to look for the confluence closest to me. And woohoo! it is only 30 km from my home. So I took my car and GPS, and set off in search of this famous, slightly magical, point.

During the ride, I was captivated by the beauty of the Normandy countryside, with its fields stretching as far as the eye can see, the lovely little villages that I drove through, and above all, the famous Normandy cows. Soon I was close to the point, and I looked for a place from where I could reach the confluence, as it is located in the middle of a field that was somewhat flooded from the heavy rains that had been falling in Normandy for several days. I found a spot to park the car, and better yet, by incredible luck there was a little road that led into the field. I got out of the car, armed with my GPS that I didn't take my eyes off of, and before I knew it I was at N49°00'00.0 E1°00'00.0

I was happy to have found the confluence without much problem, and I took my camera out of my pocket, and a bunch of snapshots of the views from where I stood.

I hope that I won't stop at a single confluence, and I will go on to find others, as it's great fun and I encourage others to do the same so that the project will make good progress, and in order to discover other magical places.
