En juin 2026, j'ai traversé la France d'ouest en est à vélo le long du 47°N parallèle afin de visiter les points de confluence. Le 8 juin, je suis arrivé au point 47°N,3°E, 6ème point de mon périple.

Le point est situé dans le Bois du Lieu, à 200m d'altitude. Je suis arrivé depuis le Chautay au sud-ouest.

Je suis rentré dans la forêt avec mon vélo au niveau de la côte "205" sur la carte IGN et j'ai pu arriver à 30m du point. J'ai laissé mon vélo au bord du chemin et j'ai franchit les derniers mètres jusqu'au point exact à pied. L'endroit est calme et ombragé. J'ai pris le temps de faire les photos et je suis retourné à mon vélo. Pour repartir, je pensais pouvoir retrouver un autre sentier dans la forêt au nord mais il y a un grand fossé et pas de sentier du tout. J'ai donc repris le même chemin qu'à l'aller, au sud puis vers l'est.

In June 2026, I cycled across France from west to east along the 47th parallel north to visit the confluence points. On June 8th, I arrived at point 47°N, 3°E, the 6th point of my journey.

The point is located in the Bois du Lieu forest, at an altitude of 200 meters. I arrived from Chautay in the southwest.

I entered the forest with my bicycle at the point marked "205" on the IGN map and was able to reach within 30 meters of the point. I left my bicycle at the side of the path and walked the last few meters to the exact spot. The place is quiet and shady. I took some time to take photos and then returned to my bicycle. To get back, I thought I could find another path in the forest to the north, but there's a large ditch and no path at all. So I retraced my steps, heading south and then east.
