In June 2026, I cycled across France from west to east along the 47th parallel to visit the confluence points. On June 3rd, I arrived at point 47°N, 1°W, the second point of my trip.

This point is located on the south bank of the Sèvre Nantaise river, east of its confluence with the Ruisseau des Amourettes stream. I arrived from St-Aubin-des-Ormeaux to the east.

There is a stone bridge that allows you to cross the stream, followed by an 800-meter path through the grass to reach the bank of the Sèvre Nantaise. Reaching the exact point is not easy, as you have to push through vegetation consisting of ferns and brambles for about ten meters and then climb over the rocks to the east. The point is in the middle of a grove of small trees. The zero-point dance wasn't easy either, as the trees obstructed movement. The view was also rather obscured. Finding the path to reach the point was ultimately more interesting than the point itself.
