27-Feb-2026 -- While driving from Oamaru to Cromwell, I passed just a few hundred metres from this Degree Confluence Point, so I had to revisit it, even though I had already been there twice before - in 2020 and 2016.

The point looked the same as it did in 2020: A cattle farm, but with no cattle currently present. The field was being irrigated at the time, which seemed a bit wasteful, because there had been heavy rain in the area the previous day.

A pair of native paradise shelducks were walking on the field, not far from the point.
