09-Nov-2025 -- Very easy access on tracks in dusty riverbed Oued Tandjet only 1.4 km from the paved road near the small oasis of Tahifet. Nothing special to see on the spot except an Acacia tree and some rubbish.

But it's worth following the 4x4 track further 15 km up the Oued Tandjet. The track ends near the impressive volcanic rock pillar I-m-merous. A few 100 meters up the the left side valley a small permanent sweet water source allows some goat herders to live here.
