18-Sep-2025 -- Dieses war der 9. CP (von insgesamt 29) auf unserer 4-wöchigen Skandinavientour 2025 – erster CP der Tour war 52°N 11°E gewesen.

Nun kamen wir von 69°N 27°E und dieser CP hat schon seit 2008 keinen Besuch mehr erhalten – höchste Zeit also für eine aktuelle “Bestandsaufnahme”. Nach einem erfolglosen, tags zuvor erfolgten und nicht dokumentierten Versuch an N 67 / E 20 im muddus Nationalpark, der ca. 1 km vor Erreichen des CP im Sumpf endete, fuhren wir nun südwärts über die E 45 durch Jokkmokk bis nach Moskosel.

Dort verließen wir die E 45 und fuhren sodann westwärts auf der BD 629 über Suddesjaur in Richtung Norrstrand. Circa 750 Meter vor Erreichen der besagten Ortschaft bog ich nach rechts ab und parkte seitlich am Pistenrand, als der CP ca. 550 Meter querab lag. (Bild 7 zeigt “Parkplatz”)

Auf flachem und trockenem Terrain ging es in losem Kiefernwald ohne Unterholz bei bestem Wetter bequem, zügig und direkt Richtung CP; dabei noch einem Rudel Rentiere begegnet. (Bild 8; die kleinen Racker sind leider schwer zu erkennen; eines ca. mittig, eines rechts) Der GPS Empfang war gut, der CP schnell lokalisiert – noch die notwendigen Fotos gemacht und wieder zurück zum WoMo. Nach ca. 25 Minuten ging's für uns weiter – nächster CP war dann 65°N 18°E.

18-Sep-2025 -- This was the 9th CP (of 29) on our 4-week campingcartour to Scandinavia 2025 – the tour had started at 52°N 11°E

By now we came from 69°N 27°E and – since this CP has not visited since 2008 – it was high time for a survey. The day before I had an unsuccessful (and not documented) attempt at N 67 / E 20 in muddus nationalpark, getting stuck in the swamp at a distance of 1 km to the CP.

So by now we drove southwards on E 45 passing Jokkmokk and Moskosel. There I took BD 629 in westerly direction towards Suddesjaur then direction Norrstrand. After approx. 750 meters before arriving there I turned right and parked our campingcar beside the track at a distance of approx. 550 meters beeline to the CP.

On flat and dry terrain, in open woods with no undergrowth the CP was reached fast and easily – fine weather and an encounter with a small herd of reindeers in surplus. (pic. 8; reindeers hardly visible at middle and right)

GPS reception was quite good, the CP located fast. After taking the pictures same way back to the campingcar and after approx. 25 minutes we continued our journey towards 65°N 18°E.
