02-Apr-2025 -- Dieses war der 13. CP (von insgesamt 14) auf unserer 3-wöchigen SoFi-Spanien/Portugaltour 2025 – erster CP der Tour war 41°N 3°W gewesen.

Nun kamen wir von 40°N 5°W und – nach Besichtigung von “Avila” (Bild 9) – führte uns unser Navi zur beim CP gelegenen Ortschaft “Mamblas”. Diese Ortschaft wieder verlassen und zu einer Senke, die aufgrund der zahlreichen Regenfälle der letzten Wochen und Monate “überflutet” war, gelangt. Man hätte zwar wohl durchfahren können, da es aber nur ca. 1,2 km zum CP waren, weiterhin das Wetter bestens, parkte ich bei der Furt (Bild 7) und marschierte los. Es ging stetig leicht bergauf; dann oben an der Geländekante angekommen noch ca. 250 Meter relativ flach zum CP-Feld. Dort entlang der Sähspuren zum CP marschiert, diesen lokalisiert und die notwendigen Fotos gemacht.

Auf selben Weg zurück; auf Rückweg entstand Bild 8 mit Ortschaft „Mamblas“ und WoMo (mittig-rechts) im Hintergrund. Dauerte alles in allem fast 40 Minuten; hätte man bei Durchfahren der Furt auch deutlich schneller haben können. Nächster und letzter CP der Tour war dann 42°N 1°W

02-Apr-2025 -- This was the 13th CP (of 14) on our 3-week solar eclipse campingcartour to Spain and Portugal 2025 – the tour had started at 41°N 3°W

By now we came from 40°N 5°W and – after having visited „Avila“ (pic. 9) – our navi led us to the village „Mamblas“, laying nearby the CP. We left „Mamblas“ again – in approx 1.2 km distance to the CP I parked our campingcar just beside a ford (pic. 7), filled a little bit due to wet and rainy weeks and months preceding. Probably no problem or risk to cross, but weather was fine and the short distance promised a nice walk. So I walked slightly ascending towards the CP – after the ridge some more 250 meters to the field with the CP on it.

I followed the traces on the field; CP localisation and taking the pictures went fast. Then same way back to the campingcar; pic. 8 shows way back towards “Mamblas” and campingcar. After about 40 minutes I arrived at the campingcar – next and last CP of the tour was 42°N 1°W
