22-Sep-2023 -- As I drove North on the autoroute from Perpignan, I was excited when I saw the line of wind turbines in the distance, because I knew that the Degree Confluence Point was there. But at first I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d be able to drive close to the point; some of the previous visitors had hiked about 2km each way.

However, I found that the gravel access road (for the wind turbines) was easy to drive in my rental car (provided that I steered around the numerous puddles that had been left by earlier rain). The access road passed just 50m West of the point, leading to a trivial hike to reach the point, which lies in a flat, rock-strewn area, near the wind turbines. At the time of my visit, there was a strong wind from the North. This caused my drone difficulties, yet most of the wind turbines were not moving. (Perhaps the demand for electricity was too low at the time.)
