#1: The confluence point lies amongst these trees

(visited by Ross Finlayson)

12-May-2011 -- This confluence point is not very interesting (as it lies among trees), and is not at all challenging to reach (as it is only 155 feet from a paved road). However, what is noteworthy about this confluence point is the overall region in which it lies - a very scenic area of New Hampshire.

From I-93, I took scenic, mountainous route 118 between the small towns of North Woodstock and Warren. (Warren is notable for the Redstone rocket sitting in a town park.) I then took road 25C, which passes next to the confluence point. To reach the confluence point, I stepped over an old stone fence, then crossed a cleared path under telephone lines.
