04-May-2011 -- Coming from 42N 88W, this was my second confluence that day after a nine hours flight from Germany and two hours drive from Chicago Airport. I left the highway about 15 miles away from the confluence and drove through a very lovely agricultural countryside. The confluence is located in the "Alpine Village Lane", a small private road with nice wooden holiday homes in alpine style. I quickly found the closer area of the confluence but again some residents observed me distrustfully. I walked around a bit and almost made the zeros. I took the photos and decided to spend some time relaxing at the nearby Lake Ripley after a very long day of traveling. Later on I continued my trip to Madison. Wisconsin, a nice city between two lakes populated by 50,000 students.
