We started our confluence trip to Zavhan aimag, Aldarhaan sum in July 28, 2008. There were two groups; one is headed by Mr. Damiran.G started their trip from Ulaanbaatar city; another group is headed by Mr. Purev.G started their trip from Uliastai, Zavhan. Their ultimate purpose of the trip was to reach at confluence location of N48,00,00.00 E97,00,00.00.

We planned to meet up at the place which is 13 km away from the confluence location. As they planned, group headed by Mr. Damiran went 1025 km and group headed by Mr. Purev went 28 km in order to meet up in a place on July 29, 2009 and team up to locate the confluence location of N48 E97. The team consisted of Mr. Damiran.G’s family, Mr.Purev.G’s family, Mr.Amarsabaa.G’s family, Mr.Ganbat’s family, Ms.Erdenechimeg.M. and Mr. Lkhagva-Erdene. N.

From the meeting point, we went around 4 km with our cars until we reached the mountains and rest of the way, we divided into two groups one led my Mr. Damiran with Garmin GPS V and the other led by Mr. Purev with Garmin Nuvi 350 and raced to the confluence location. Group led by Mr. Damiran found the confluence location of N48 E97 first and it was located in the higher part of the mountain, which is in Khatavch river of Zagstai team in Aldarkhan, Zavkhan.
