13-Jan-2007 -- In order to do the two confluences that Prime Meridian crosses in Aragón Community, because I had done one of them, 41ºN 0º last year, I required to my friend P. Juanje Bastero S.J., a priest and Biologic Professor from Jesus Maria - El Salvador School (Zaragoza), to be my adventure companion fellow to get the 42ºN 0º´Point. He is an enthusiastic of Confluences catcher, because we together did the Point that I mentioned, in February 2006.

On 13th January 2007, we started at 10, 00 am, by car, and took the A-23 highway from Zaragoza to Huesca, and then the N-232 from Huesca to Lerida. A few kilometres before Barbastro (Huesca) we took the deviation to Laperdiguera (Huesca). There, all that we had to do was suite the indications that Ramón Barrachina, the first visitor to 42ºN0º, who did it in 16th - Aug-2002, wrote it in his DCP chronic. We crossed a bridge over an irrigation channel and took a good unasphalted way that brings us near the Point. We stopped the car in a properly site en went walking approximately a half km on a harvest corn field.

It was a cloudy day but it was possible take in the properly establishes way the pictures from the Point. Then we come back and went following the channel irrigation to Berbegal, a nice village were people who lives there are proud because Greenwich Meridian cresses the location. A stone Monument indicate this circumstance. We took pictures of ourselves by the Monument.

Coming back home we had a lunch in a good restaurant called “El Portal del Somontano”, near Barbastro, were meal en antiquity things come together.

I would like to say that since I knew DCP I have new friends. Some of them mailed me because my age, I am 73, to congratulate for adventures. My namesake Ramon Barrachina, the first catcher of Greenwich Meridian in Aragon, is a very good friend. We meet in Barcelona last Christmas were we took a beer in a Bar and spent a wile talking about DCP, GPS and maps. He showed me things about GPS and the best route to do the Point 42ºN 0º. We stay to be in other opportunities in Barcelona were my wife comes from.
