30-Mar-2007 -- Like my other three confluence visits (all in Mongolia), I was working in the area and on this day went to look at a water drilling rig. I knew from looking at the Confluences in the area that all had been visited previously, but was so close to this one (300 m) that I thought I should visit this one as well.

The area lies on extensive flat plains near Kalaba, about 40 km NW of Kayseri, in central Turkey. As other visitors to this site have found, the access is very easy, and very near a main Turkish road to Kayseri!
