30-Jul-2000 -- Wouldn't you just know that the confluence was almost in the exact center of a farmer's field. Whatever he is growing looks as if its doing well. I didn't want to walk out into the field because I didn't know what kind of damage I would do to the crop. I did manage to completely circle the field. The confluence was between 0.15 and 0.25 miles into the middle of the field from all sides. Maybe I will go back later in the year after the harvest and wander out into the middle of the field.
