05-Нояб-2006 – Вечером выезжаем из Минска в направлении Гомеля. Делаем остановку в лесу. И к утру добираемся до города Хойники, где узнаем дорогу до деревни Великий Бор. К ней ведет хорошая асфальтовая дорога, и вскоре мы уже были там. Пересекаем колхозное поле и останавливаемся у самого леса. Жена занялась костром и, пока мы ходили на очередную точку, успела познакомиться с местными охотниками. Мы с товарищем и немецкой овчаркой ушли в лес. Лес светлый, березовый, повсюду золотистого цвета сухая трава по пояс. От места, где оставили машину, пешком шли около часа. Основная дорога проходила по заросшим тропам вдоль мелиоративных каналов.

Как добраться: От Мозыря до Хойников. От Хойников до села Великий Бор. От села по полевой дороге до леса. По лесу до точки около двух километров.

05-Nov-2006 – In the evening we set out from Minsk towards Homel', made a night stop in the forest and reached Khoiniky town by the morning. There we asked for the road to Velikiy Bor settlement. There was a good asphalted road there. Soon we were in the village, then crossed a farm field and parked near the forest edge. While we were going to the CP, my wife left to make camp-fire and became acquainted with local hunters. My friend and me with the German sheep dog came out to the forest. The birches wood was light. There is golden dry waist-high grass around. It took half an hour to walk from the parking. The most part of our way passed along land-reclamation canals.

How to get there: from Mozyr' to Khoiniky, then towards Velikyi Bor. From the village keep field dirt road up to the forest. It's about two kilometers from the forest edge to the CP.
