07-Aug-2006 -- After the tours along the norwegean coast of the atlantic had all been on salt water, a tour with my boat on fresh water seemed nessecary to me.

I hadn´t visited a point of intersection in Sweden, yet. Even though Sweden had been completed for a few years, this point seemed ideal to me, because it could be reached on the other side of the lake.

After I had been back at my sister at Rosentorps Touristcamp. Position N 61° 23 300 / E 014° 55 265. I once again drove northeast to this point. On road # 45 for a while and then on road # 310, through Hamra and Los to Ljusdal. From there, on the # 83 in the direction of Ange. About 15 km to Ljusdal, close to Letsbo, to Loster. A gravel road leads from there to Tranviken, all the way to the shore of the Storsjön lake.

It takes about 2 hours for these approxomately 145 km. For a short tour with the boat, it isn´t too far away. The point is situated somewhat north - easterly, on the opposite side of the lake, in about 3.1 km distance ( as the crow flies ). Starting position was N 61° 58 422 / E 015° 58 890. According to my map, I couldn´t take direct course, I had to do the zigzag - course again. After I had put the boat together and with the help of nice, sunny weather, I started at about 1 pm. A nice, pleasent tour of about 5 km to the destination. I didn´t know, ahead of time, whether the point was on the water or on land. The map I had with me, didn´t show this clearly. So there was a little suspense there for me. After about 40 minutes on my boat, the point was almost exactly reached. There were only about 20 meters missing. The point can be found on the shore, which is covered with big rocks. After the pictures had been taken, I went back to the starting point. It felt very easy-going. Afterwards I went for a swim in the shore-area. The water was pleasent and this time I didn´t need the neopran-suit. A nice monday-excursion was coming to an end.

07-Aug-2006 -- Nach den Salzwasserfahrten an der Norwegischen Atlantikküste war unbedingt noch eine Tour mit dem Außenborder auf Süßwasser nötig. Ich hatte noch keinen Schnittpunktbesuch in Schweden gemacht. Obwohl Schweden seit einigen Jahren schon Komplet ist, schien mir dieser Punkt als Ideal, da er an der anderen Seeseite zu erreichen war. Wieder zurück bei meiner Schwester in Rosentorps Touristcamp / Position N 61° 23 300 / E 014° 55 265. fuhr ich von dort noch mal in Richtung nordöstlich zu diesem Punkt. Ein Stück auf der 45 und dann auf der 310 über Hamra / Los nach Ljusdal. Von dort auf der 83 in Richtung Ǻnge. Rund 15 km nach Ljusdal bei Letsbo nach Loster und dort auf einer Schotterstraße nach Tranviken bis ans Ufer des Storsjön Sees. Man braucht doch 2 Stunden Fahrzeit für die alles in allem ca. 145 km. Aber nicht zu weit weg, für eine kurze Tagestour mit dem Boot.

Der Punkt liegt an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Sees etwas nordöstlich in ca. 3.1 km Entfernung ( Luftlinie). Die Startposition lag bei N 61° 58 422 / E 015° 58 890. Nach der Landkarte nicht direkt Ansteuerbar, sondern etwas im Zickzackkurs. Bei bestem sonnigen Wetter und flottem Aufbau des Bootes ging es um ca. 13 Uhr los. Eine schöne herrliche Genusstour mit knapp über 5 km bis zum Ziel. Etwas Spannend war es im Voraus für mich ob der Punkt im Wasser oder an Land war. Dies konnte man aus der Landkarte die ich dabei hatte nicht 100 % erkennen. Nach knapp 40 Minuten Bootsfahrt war dieser Punkt fast genau erreicht. Es fehlten gerade mal noch 20 Meter. Der Punkt ist auf einem mit großen Steinen platzierten Uferbereich zu finden. Nach den Fotos wieder gemütlich zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Anschließend gönne ich mir noch eine kleine Schwimmtour im Uferbereich bei sehr angenehmer Wassertemperatur, dieses Mal aber ohne Neoprenanzug. Ein schöner Montagsausflug geht zu Ende.
