09-Jul-2006 -- Wir genossen eine Wochenendsegeltour mit Übernachtung vor Anker in der Wohlenberger Wiek. Als wir am Abend bei wunderschönem Sonnenuntergang im Cockpit saßen, kam uns die Idee den Schnittpunkt 54N11E, der auf dem Rückweg (kleiner Umweg von 12 sm) nach Fehmarn liegt, zu besuchen. Der Wind kam aus einer günstigen Richtung und der Schnittpunkt war schnell erreicht. Jetzt begann das Problem ihn genau zu treffen, auf einem Schiff bei Seegang und Wind gar nicht so einfach. Also Motor an und gekreist, erschwerend war, dass dieser Punkt auf einer beliebten Route von Seglern liegt und wir als "Motorboot" somit auch noch während der Annäherung ständig irgendwelchen Seglern ausweichen mussten. Da diese Schnittpunktsuche nicht geplant war, musste das Handy als Fotoapparat reichen.

09-Jul-2006 -- We enjoyed a final week's sailing before anchoring overnight in the Wohlenberger Wiek. When we sat in the cockpit during a beautiful sunset we had the idea of visiting the intersection 54N11E, which is on the way back (small detour of 12 sm).

The wind came from a favourable direction and we quickly approached the intersection. Now the problem was how to meet it exactly; on a ship; with swell; and wind it was not so simple. Thus engine on and we circled, what made it more difficult was that this point is on a popular route of Seglern and we had to evade any "motorboat". Since this intersection search was not planned, all that we had was a mobile phone as camera.

In the waters of the Lübecker Bucht, about 1 km offshore.
