11-Jun-2006 -- The site is 330 km driving from Vladivostok. From Sokolovka NE there is a 2WD drivable track into the Reserve approx 10 km. From the reserve gate on the track gets boggy and one definitely needs a 33-35 inch wheeled 4WD with the winch to get to the point on the track (further 8 km) where one would need to walk approx 300-500 metres N to reach the point. We spotted deers in the reserve and there must be wild cats, boars and bears. We turned back at 42.58\133.58 as it was about to get dark.
