09-Aug-2005 -- This visit was the first one of our plan to visit all the confluence points within the Samara Region (Russia). The visit was very successful as the confluence was very scenic, very close to the field of sunflowers. However, this being our first try we did not know all the rules required to do this. Hence, all the requirements were surpassed greatly. For example, we have spent about half an hour trying to get all the reading on the GPS to display all zeros. And succeeded. The photos included show the gps reading, the scenery surrounding the confluence, and some photos of the team who did it. Other confluences are coming soon.
