06-Jun-2026 -- Aboard the Atlas ship World Navigator. At 9:07pm this was the second of three CP sightings on the Arctic cruise of the Atlas World Navigator. Navigation Officer Francisco Camara assisted again to steer the ship over this point. It was a balmy summer day along the coast of Svalbard, Norway where the sun did not go down. At this CP, we were 13 degrees above the Arctic Circle which is at about 66deg 34'. On the attached map, 80N 11E is the northernmost of our 3 visited points in Svalbard.
