09-Oct-2009 – The confluence is located in 7 km northeast from Izluchinsk town (Nizhnevartovsk district of Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous region). Izluchinsk appeared in 1988 on-site Savkino settlement when Government Power Plant was building. The Temple of St. Nikolay Man of God has been built on the bank of Vakh river. Height of building is 8 meters. Its capacity is about 300 parishioners.

The confluence is located in a spring flood plain of Vakh river. There is the oil-field around the confluence. The field road runs nearby. Access to the point had not restricted at our visit time. There is a multiple well platform to the east from the confluence.

We drove up to the confluence point by car. The day was drawing in and photographing conditions became worse. Unfortunately we had only a pocket computer to take pictures. After the visit we went to our official business which was temporarily interrupted.
