#1: View of general area including camel

(visited by Patricia and John Durkin)

17-Sep-2004 -- We parked the car some distance from the confluence and armed with GPS,water bottles and camera we trudged into the bush in search of the confluence. On arrival we proceeded to take photos, only to be interrupted by a large male camel (wild of course!!) looking for a little female company and pretty upset with us for being on his turf. Luckily, the sun was in his eyes and with the noise we made (nothing to match his noises,I might add) we managed to convince him that we were neither looking for company nor did we wish to compete with him for his territory.

We took a photo of our camel friend which shows the general area #1, a couple of photos of the only large tree visible from confluence which was quite distinctive (#2 & #3) and a photo of the GPS showing our position.
