In Maracaibo State of Zulia at 9:30am we made the decision to go to the hunt of confluence N 11º W 71º that is in the state of Falcon. When we began the route we passed the bridge Rafael Urdaneta who crosses the Maracaibo lake, this bridge is longest one made of concrete in the world at 8,6 km.

Once on the Eastern coast we went to the north via Mene Mauroa on the highway that at this time of the year is adorned by thousands of curarire trees, yellow in color; this tree is like national tree called aragauaney.

When we arrivedt the town Mene Mauroa the GPS indicated that the confluence point was at 25 km to the northwest and we saw a highway to the left that wnt on our desired direction but is pretty bad condition.

Once in San Felix we visited the 'shrimp farms' one of the main source of work of this region. From this town we crossed a long dirt road that leads to Casigua passing the oilpipe of the refinery of Amuay. A little before arriving at casigua the GPS indicated that after 3 kms through a desert was the confluence point, we moved towards the indicated direction. We crossed some channels in the desert until we arrived to our first confluence point.
