#1: General view of confluence

(visited by Stephen Jeffers, Keyla Jeffers, Duncan White, Lois White, Rachel White, Daniel White and Sarah White)

10-Oct-2003 -- Whilst planning our trip to Central Australia, I noticed our return path would take us close to this confluence.

After leaving Innaminca that morning we travelled down the Bore Track to Cameron's Corner. I was unable to "do" the Cameron Corner Confluence as we were running short of time (long way to go in one day) and it had been visited before (lower on priority). We stopped for a while in Tibooburra to refresh and set out for Broken Hill (Home). South of Milparinka we decided we had time to visit this Confluence which lay approx 2-3km west of the Silver City Highway on a property known as "One Tree Station".

The owner of One Tree Station kindly gave us permission to travel onto his land and take photos at the confluence.

After a bit of searching around the station tracks and a pleasant 300 metre walk through the scrub we found the confluence.

At the point we quickly celebrated, tried to explain the concept to the kids present, snapped photos and departed quickly for Broken Hill in the fading light.

Missing from the "group shot" are Tari and Elodie Jeffers (too tired from the long day and stayed in 4WD) and Rachel White who sustained a splinter injury during the trek through the scrub to the confluence.
