  23°S 45°W (visit #2) (incomplete)

#1: Point where we left the SP-171 highway toward the convergence.

(visited by Pedro Jose de Oliveira Neto and Guilherme Augusto Vargas Cesar)

07-Sep-2003 -- Guilherme and I left Sao Jose dos Campos-SP toward Guaratingueta' by the BR-116 (via Dutra). In Guaratingueta', we took the SP-171 to Cunha.

We spent a lot of time trying to figure out a way of getting to the point and finally found it along the route to a restaurant named "Toca do Peixe". At a certain point, we had to abandon our car and climb a steep hill, among cows.

When we reached a meadow on the top, about 2 km far from the point, we realized that we were not going to make it under sunlight and decided to come back next weekend.

Back at home I knew that Liz Maria and Endre had already made it. Tant pis pour nous, congratulations to them.

Pedro.
