#1: At the point with a view of the city of Naharya

(visited by yosi sherman)

05-Apr-2003 -- On Saturday we set up the little Zodiac boat and sailed from the nearest beach to the point needed. The point that we set sail from is the wonderful little recommended bay south of Naharia which is the north tourist city of Israel. I, Yosi Sherman, was sailing with my friend, Avi Bonom, who took the pictures. We got there very fast with an occasionaly extraordinary East wind. We took the pictures and you can see the city of Naharia at the back along the seashore. Because of the strong wind it was very hard to get back and in the last miles we were escorted by the coastguard boat that heard about our attempt to get to the point in that bad weather. When we finally got back to the beach, we celebrated with wine and had a big picnic.
